Pathfinders is fostering environmental stewardship through dynamic education programs designed to engage the community. By hosting workshops, outdoor activities, and school-based initiatives, the organization empowers individuals to understand and care for the natural world. Through hands-on experiences like trail maintenance, native species planting, and environmental advocacy, Pathfinders is equipping Perry County residents with the knowledge and skills to protect and sustain their local ecosystems for future generations.
Pathfinders strives to serve the community of Perry County with rich outdoor recreation opportunities for all ages. Partnered with the Perry Co. Department of Outdoor Recreation, you can come explore Perry County’s trails systems with us on special hiking trips to celebrate holidays, learn about nature, or hang out by the fire. If you are brave enough, find us on the trails at night during full moons every month or camping out under the stars.
We are currently working on ways to build upon our instructional outdoor recreation opportunities, and forming hiking, trail running, and climbing groups. Check back this spring 2025 for more information on these groups!
